Canada has made it easier for Pakistanis to obtain alternative visas for their country.
It has included Pakistan in the Student Direct Stream program, which simplifies visa applications for substitute students.
The program started a year ago for India, China, the Philippines and Vietnam. As part of the sustainable development strategy, it will take 20 days for visas to be prepared once complete applications and biometric data are submitted.
Pakistan's High Commissioner for Canada, Raza Bashir Tarrar, congratulated the Canadian government on the elections.
