FM Qureshi tells allies in Saudi and UAE, Indian move to repeal Article 5 says 'violation of UN resolutions'



ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Zubair and UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan-Al Nahyan held a meeting with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Wednesday and discussed the current situation. In the wake of the move to end the dignity of the Valley, which is under Indian control in Jammu and Kashmir.

On a one-day visit, the meeting was held at the Foreign Office following the arrival of the prominent Saudi and Emirate.

On this occasion, Qureshi made it clear that Indian action was a violation of international law and a violation of UN resolutions.

He said that India has held millions of Kashmir hostages for a month, adding that the situation in Kashmir is worrisome and food and medicines are not available.

Before the delegation-level discussion, the three foreign ministers trembled warmly and raised their hands in front of the camera as a gesture of unity among the three foreigners.

Earlier, foreign ministers from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) arrived in Islamabad on a one-day official visit. External Affairs Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi welcomed the guests.

During the visit, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Bin Ahmed Al-Zubair and UAE Foreign and International Cooperation Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan will meet Prime Minister Imran Khan, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi. And Army Chief (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

The meeting will discuss bilateral relations and regional development between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Foreign Minister's visit to Pakistan was announced after a meeting with King Aizaz, the Pakistani ambassador to Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

Earlier, Imran Khan telephoned Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and informed him of the current situation in India-occupied Kashmir (IOK).

It was the third telephonic communication between Imran Khan and Mohammad bin Salman in two weeks.
