ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday addressed the general public's concerns about the recently launched MTI law/ordinance and assured that it was not part of privatization.
Prime Minister Khan wrote on Twitter that the purpose of the ordinance is to provide advanced and modern management of public sector hospitals.
"This is not privatization, but part of our public sector hospital reform plan. Hospitals will be public hospitals," he said.
The MTI Act / Ordinance is to enable advanced and modern management of public sector hospitals. This is not privatization, but hospitals will remain as public hospitals as part of the reform plan for our public sector hospitals. Well-managed hospitals would like to see better benefits for patients.
